My name is Jan Smillie, an ordained minister specializing in non-denominational weddings, elopements, and vow renewals. I recognize all marriages and believe a ceremony should be written unique to each couple.

I am located in Tacoma, serving the greater Puget Sound area but I will travel beyond the area if available.

I believe your special day should be done your way. Whether you choose a short, simple ceremony, an elaborate event, or anything in between, it should be as individual, fun and unique as the couple. Emphasis on FUN. You get one chance to make your wedding da special of so let's get it right.....there are no do-overs!

If you have children your wedding is a big event in their lives as well. Let's include them in your ceremony to unite you as a family.

You may use my services solely to officiate at your ceremony or you can use my services to help plan your day. I work with area vendors – wedding planners, photographers, florists, musicians, and venues. Together we can create your day.
